Cost calculator · Kuwait

What will your project cost in Kuwait?

Five or six questions and you get a range, with the reasons it landed where it did. No email address, and nothing here is a number you cannot also find on the pricing page.

Software and web project costs in Kuwait start from KD 300 for a one-page company profile, KD 525 for a multi-page business website, KD 1,350 for an online store, KD 2,700 for a mobile app, and KD 1,800 for an ERP first phase. The figure is driven by bilingual Arabic scope, page or screen count, integrations with existing systems, and whether content already exists — not by design alone.

What are we pricing?

Pick one to see a range. Five or six questions, no email address, and the figure you land on is the same starting price published on the pricing page — there is no cheaper number hidden behind a form.

Starting prices, and what they buy

The bottom of every range above is one of these figures. They are the same starting prices published on the pricing page, at the 25% off founding-client rate.

Starting prices by project type in Kuwait, with what each figure buys
ProjectFromTypicallyWhat that buys
One-page company profileKD 3002–4 weeksA single page that establishes you exist, look credible and can be contacted. Bilingual, indexed, live quickly.
Business websiteKD 5252–4 weeksThe standard corporate site: services, about, contact, and a structure that can grow. The starting figure covers five pages.
Online storeKD 1,3504–8 weeksCatalogue, cart, KNET and card checkout, stock and order handling. Payments are included in the starting figure, because a store without them is not a store.
Mobile appKD 2,7008–16 weeksAn iOS and Android app built from one codebase, submitted to both stores. The starting figure covers a focused app of around eight screens.
ERP / business systemKD 1,8006–12 weeksThe first module, live: single-module first phase with its data migrated and its users trained. Not the finished system — the phase that proves the rest is worth building.
Something customQuoted per project8–20 weeksA system built to your workflow: a portal, a booking engine, an internal tool, a platform. Kuwait market rates run from around KD 3,000 for a focused tool to past KD 60,000 for an enterprise platform.

What moves the number

The drivers, and why each one costs what it does

Design is rarely the expensive part. These are the questions the calculator asks, and the reason it asks them — worth reading against any quote you are comparing, not only ours.

Arabic as well as English?

Right-to-left is a layout problem, not a translation problem — it changes navigation, forms, tables and how dates and numbers render. Built in from the first screen it is a known cost; added to a finished English build it is close to a rebuild.

Is your text and imagery ready?

Most delays are not technical. If nobody has written the service descriptions or gathered the photographs, the build waits — and someone writing them for you is real work whether or not it appears on a quote.

Roughly how many pages?

Get this into the contract with a number on it. A quote for "a website" with no page list means every page you ask for after signing is a variation — the most common way a cheap quote becomes an expensive project.

Do you want to edit it yourselves?

An admin area your team publishes through, instead of sending every change back to a developer. Worth having if the site changes more than a few times a year.

Connections to systems you already use

An accounting package, a stock feed, a CRM, a delivery company. Each one is a moving part that has to be built, tested against real data, and maintained when the other side changes.

How large is the catalogue?

The count matters less than the shape. Products with sizes, colours, variants or per-branch stock take materially more work than the same number of simple items.

Delivery handling

Whether orders are dispatched by hand from a dashboard, or pushed to a courier's system automatically with tracking coming back.

Roughly how many screens?

Count the distinct things a user can do, not the pages of a design. A login, a list, a detail view and a settings page is four.

Do users have accounts?

Accounts bring registration, password reset, sessions, roles and a place to store personal data — which is a backend, not a screen.

Taking payments online?

KNET, cards, Apple Pay and Tabby, through a licensed gateway (MyFatoorah, Tap Payments, and UPayments). Gateway and transaction fees are paid to the provider, not to us, and are not included in any figure here.

How many areas of the business, eventually?

Accounting, inventory, sales, purchasing, HR, POS. The figure below prices the first one; the rest are phased after it, and each later module is cheaper because it reuses the data model the first one establishes.

Where is the data now?

Migration is usually underestimated. Data that has been kept by hand carries duplicates, gaps and local conventions that have to be resolved before it can be trusted in a system that acts on it.

One location or several?

Multiple branches change the shape of the system rather than its size: stock, permissions and reporting all become per-location questions.

What is it closest to?

This one does not produce a number, and that is deliberate — see the note beneath. Telling us the shape means the first conversation starts somewhere useful.

Not in the build figure

What you pay after launch

Excluded from the ranges above, and from most quotes you will receive — which does not make it optional, only unbudgeted.

Hosting, domain and SSL
Published, not bundled invisibly: from KD 75/year, SSL included rather than sold as a line.
Maintenance
Security updates, backups, and someone to call. Kuwait retainers commonly start around KD 40 a month for a small site and rise with size and change frequency.
Payment gateway fees
Paid to the gateway (MyFatoorah, Tap Payments, and UPayments), not to us. Per-transaction, and never included in a build figure.
App store accounts
Apple and Google developer accounts are billed to you directly and renew annually. Required to publish, whoever builds the app.

What this calculator is not

  • This is an estimate from five or six answers, not a quote. A written scope turns it into a fixed figure, and that figure is what appears on the contract.
  • The low end of every range is our published starting price for that kind of project, which is the same number shown on the pricing page and in our structured data. Nothing here is a discount available only through the calculator.
  • Ranges widen as scope grows, because they honestly should. If your project is at the top of one, the estimate is the least useful thing on this page and a discovery call is the most.
  • Anything materially below the bottom of these ranges, from anyone, is usually a different product: a template, no Arabic layout work, and no plan for the month after launch.

Answers

Project costs in Kuwait: common questions

The cost questions buyers actually ask, answered with the same figures the calculator uses.

How much does a website cost in Kuwait?

A one-page company profile starts from KD 300 and a multi-page business website from KD 525. Both assume a defined page list, bilingual Arabic and English, and a working contact form. What moves the figure is page count, whether Arabic is built in rather than translated on top, integrations with systems you already use, and whether the text and images exist yet — in roughly that order.

How much does a mobile app cost in Kuwait?

From KD 2,700 for a focused app of around eight screens, built for both iOS and Android from one codebase and submitted to both stores, typically taking 8–16 weeks. Screen count, whether users have accounts (which means a backend, not a screen), payments, and integrations are what move it. Apple and Google developer accounts are billed to you directly and renew annually.

How much does an ERP system cost in Kuwait?

Custom ERP starts from KD 1,800 for a single-module first phase — one department live, with its data migrated and its users trained, typically in 6–12 weeks. That is not the price of a finished multi-module system: researched Kuwait ranges put four to six modules with integrations and training at roughly KD 5,500 to KD 15,000. Licensed products charge per user per year instead, which is cheaper at first and becomes the larger number as you hire.

Is this calculator's figure a quote?

No. It is an estimate from five or six answers, and it is deliberately a range rather than a single number. A written scope turns it into one fixed figure, agreed before any work starts, and that figure is what appears on the contract. The low end of every range is the same published starting price shown on our pricing page, so the calculator cannot quote you anything cheaper than the site already does.

Why does adding Arabic increase the price?

Because right-to-left is a layout problem rather than a translation problem. It changes navigation, forms, tables, printed documents, and how numbers and dates render — every screen is designed and tested twice. Built in from the first screen it is a known cost; retrofitted onto a finished English site it is close to a rebuild. A quote that prices Arabic per word has priced the translation and not the work.

What is not included in the estimate?

Hosting, domain and SSL (published separately, from KD 75/year), maintenance after launch, payment gateway and per-transaction fees paid to the gateway rather than to us, and app store developer accounts. None of these is optional — leaving them out of a quote does not remove the cost, it just moves it to an invoice you were not expecting.

Why are your prices lower than some Kuwait agencies and higher than others?

Our starting prices sit at or above the researched Kuwait market floor for each category, and the site fails its own build if one drops below it. Quotes materially under that floor are usually a different product — a template, no Arabic layout work, no post-launch support. Quotes well above it are often buying account management rather than engineering. We publish the numbers so the comparison is possible at all, which most agencies here do not.

Do I have to give my email to see a price?

No. The calculator runs entirely in your browser and asks for nothing. If you want the estimate turned into a real quote, the answers you gave are carried into the quote form or a WhatsApp message so you are not asked them twice — but that is your choice to make after you have seen the number, not a condition of seeing it.
